MEET OUR PRESENTER

Dr Rajini Jayaballa (MBChB, FRACP) is a Staff Specialist Endocrinologist at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals and is the Clinical Lead at Western Sydney Diabetes and the High Risk Foot Service. She also provides private consultations at Macquarie University’s Rouse Hill Clinic.

She collaborates closely with general practitioners, practice nurses, and allied health professionals by running diabetes case conferences within the community. In addition to her clinical work, Dr Jayaballa is actively involved in teaching and research and holds a position as a Clinical Lecturer at Macquarie University.

She has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and has presented her work at both national and international conferences. Dr Jayaballa is committed to delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care of the highest standard.

Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, and gestational), metabolic syndrome and weight management, polycystic ovarian syndrome, as well as thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pituitary disorders, and osteoporosis.
