Diabetes Distress Screening Scale (DDS17)

Our vision is to transform this powerful screening tool into a user-friendly survey format, one that can be efficiently sent to patients via SMS or email and returned confidentially to their healthcare providers. With immediate access to the results, clinicians will be able to highlight patients in need of immediate attention and support, facilitating prompt intervention and personalised care.

The workshop has delved into the finer details of adapting the DDS17 into a user-friendly survey, explored potential reporting mechanisms, and discussed how it can be synergistically employed with other patient-related data for comprehensive patient care enhancement.
