ADATS 2026
NOTE:
For those confirmed to be registered for the breakfast session, you should have received an email with instructions via a separate email. If you haven’t received it or have any questions, please feel free to email Lei at admin@nadc.net.au.
ADATS 2026 is located in the Melbourne Room 1, located on Level 2 of the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
Head to the main Convention Centre entrance at 1 Convention Centre Place, South Wharf.
Enter the building, proceed to stairs 1 and 2 in the Convention Centre (orange-shaded area), head to Level 2, and follow the signage to Melbourne Room 1.
The easiest way to access Melbourne Room 1 is via the Convention Centre entrance at 1 Convention Centre Place, near the Polly Woodside tall ship. Once inside, follow the signs to Melbourne Room 1 on Level 2.
Lifts and escalators are available nearby.
If you are travelling via public transport:
- Tram: Routes 12, 96, and 109 stop at the Clarendon Street entrance (Stop 124A, Casino/MCEC).
- Train: Southern Cross Station is the closest hub. From there, you can walk for 10 minutes or catch one of the trams above to the venue.
- Parking: The Exhibition Centre Basement Car Park (accessible via Normanby Road) provides the closest access. Parking is managed by Wilson Parking, and you can secure a spot online to access the lifts serving Doors 1, 6, and 10.
- Airport: MCEC is conveniently accessible from Melbourne Airport via the SkyBus City Express to Southern Cross Station, then a short tram ride on routes 96, 109 or 12 which stop directly outside the venue. Taxis and rideshare services such as Uber are also available directly from the airport, with a journey time of approximately 25–30 minutes depending on traffic.

Please note that the breakfast session is only for those who have registered and been approved. Participation is NOT automatic with ADATS registration. Dinner is invite-only.
REGISTRATION:
Upon arrival, please proceed to the registration desk immediately for attendee registration. Registration tea and coffee will be served.
Registration for the breakfast session will be available from 6:45 am – 7:15 am on Level 2 Foyer, in front of Melbourne Room 1
General ADATS registration will begin from 7:30 am to 8:30 am.
We will check you off our delegate list on arrival and provide you with your name badge.
MEALS:
Morning tea will be served at 10:00am to 10:20 am
A networking buffet lunch will be served from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm
Afternoon tea will be served at 2:50 pm to 3:15 pm
The caterers have been advised of dietary requests that have already been provided during the registration process.
Please advise Lei Calma as soon as possible via email at admin@nadc.net.au if you did not indicate you have any dietary requirements during the registration submission.

Q&A/POLLING APP
To enhance your experience during the conference, we have provided a QR code available in your delegate badge for submitting questions and participating in polls.
For sessions with a Q&A panel discussion, in-room delegates can ask questions directly using the mic stands available in the room, in addition to submitting questions via the Q&A and polling app. Staff will be on hand to guide you.
PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING & PRIVACY
Please note that sessions will be recorded. Registered delegates will receive complimentary access to the recordings of all sessions for which speaker permission has been given. Recordings will be made available within four weeks of the event.
For those presenters/delegates asking questions during discussion time, we ask that you speak closely into the microphone so that the audio is recorded clearly.
ACCESSIBILITY
MCEC is fully wheelchair accessible, with lift access to Level 2 and accessible toilets on each level. Melbourne Room 1 is fitted with hearing loop. A quiet room and parents’ room are available If you have an access requirement we can assist with, please contact Lei Calma at admin@nadc.net.au before the event or speak to the NADC team at registration.
WIFI ACCESS
Free Wireless Internet Access is Available.
The Melbourne Convention Centre is equipped with high-speed internet access. Complimentary Wi-Fi access will be available for sponsors and delegates in the conference spaces.
RESTROOM/TOILET
Toilets are located near the public lifts and Stair 1. Please refer to the floor plan provided for exact location details.
PARKING
The closest car park to Melbourne Room 1 is Wilson Parking – South Wharf Retail Car Park (20 Convention Centre Place), a short walk from the Convention Centre Place entrance. Pre-book prior to arrival to secure your spot and access discounted rates.

ADATS was launched for healthcare professionals in Australia in 2017, to provide an access to the latest information on diabetes advancements and technologies.
The event is the result of the commitment by the NADC to improve the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals in Australia. ADATS brings together world-leading experts, academics and clinicians with a shared focus and passion in advanced technologies and therapeutics in diabetes.
The 5th ADATS meeting will be a full-day virtual conference open to health care professionals both nationally and internationally and will be relevant to those that work within General Practice, Primary Care, Community Health, and Tertiary Care Centres.
The main topics that are discussed at ADATS include:

- Data, Quality & Best Practice in Diabetes Care and Technology

We also will have presentations on Artificial Intelligence in healthcare and how online data collection, monitoring systems, education platforms and other innovative approaches will shape the future of diabetes management
